Our Lady Of Miracle Church


The church of our Lady of Miracles also known as St. Jerome's Church is situated at Mapusa in North Goa. This church was originally build by Portuguese in 1594. This church was dedicated to Saint Jerome and is still often called as St. Jerome's church.
The building caught fire in 1961 and a large part of it was destroyed. and after its renovation the church was dedicated to our lady of Miracle and is locally known as Milarge church. The exterior of the church is in beautiful Portuguese architecture with blonde bricks and tan coloured trim. It has an altars which is devoted to our lady of Miracle.

  Patto Bridge The Patto bridge a historic monument built by the Portuguese is a small bridge in Panjim the capital city of Goa. The Patto bridge is the extension of the causeway known as Ponte de Linhares (‘ Ponte’ in Portuguese means Bridge ) that is about 3.2 kms long and is considered to be one of the longest bridge in South Asia.               HOLY CROSS CHURCH, VERNA - GOA      The Holy cross church, Verna - Goa is one of the popular Goan churches and is locally known as the 'Verna church' in Goa. The first version of the Holy cross church according to historical records was in 1568.
