Church Of St. Cajetan
St. Cajetan is also known as the church of divine providence and is located in Old Goa.
The architect of this church is breathtaking and has minor influences of Corinthian style of architecture. The interiors of this church is divided into two different sections that have both many aisles and also huge pillars. The model of this church is said to have greatly inspired from the original design of Basilica in Rome. In 1661 the construction of this church was completed and is considered as one of the beautiful churches of Goa.

              HOLY CROSS CHURCH, VERNA - GOA      The Holy cross church, Verna - Goa is one of the popular Goan churches and is locally known as the 'Verna church' in Goa. The first version of the Holy cross church according to historical records was in 1568. The Holy cross church lies in the hearts of the village of Verna.      The Verna church is build in the traditional manner over looking the large church square. It has been build in three different places since the original construction. The present Verna church was build in 1612.    " When the Portuguese entered this land about the year 1519.... they build an altar under the tree and consecrated the land to god with the first mass said in Salcete" - oriente conquistado . BISHOPS PALACE

The Bishops Palace also known as the Patriarcal Palace is situated in Altinho the hillock overlooking the city of Panaji. It is one of the main attraction in this area and is the residence of the Archbishop of Goa.  In order to reflect the elevation of the Archbishop to a Patriarch, the Bishop's Palace was constructed. The diocese of Goa was established here in the year 1533, and raised to an Archdiocese in 1557.  The development of this area had began in year 1886 starting with the work of Archbishop to Patriarchal status finishing by the year 1894, the first Patriarch, "Dom Antonio Sebastiao Valente" entrance is designed with coats of arms
